HARVEST SEASON

Late September through October is harvest season at Juniperdale Farms. Stop by and you may see the combine and other equipment working hard out in the fields harvesting this years crops. We have a lot to offer at The Produce Crib this time of year as well. Below, you will find a list of the fall products we grow and sell. Pick up a squash for your favorite pie, and a pumpkin for seed roasting. We are also your "one stop shop" for all fall and Halloween decorations! 

  • Mini Pumpkins: Very small ornamental pumpkins, including Jack-B-Little and Baby Boo. Weighing just 1/4-3/4 lbs.

  • Cannonball: Small, smooth skinned, and hard shelled pumpkins about the size of a softball. Weighing approximately 1 lb. each.

  • Pie Pumpkin: Also known as sugar pumpkins. Typical looking pumpkin, but weighing only 5-8 lbs.

  • Medium-Large Face Pumpkins: Typical carving pumpkin ranging from yellow-orange to dark orange. Shallow to deep, pronounced ribbing. Ranging from 12-34 lbs.

  • Xtra Large Face Pumpkins: Captain Jack is a popular variety. Very large pumpkins, great for carving. Ranging from 34 up to 50 lbs!

  • Squash: Makes the tastiest pies! Also great for decoration. They are very unique; many colors, sizes, and shapes. Including, but not limited to: Hubbards, Cushaws, Neck Pumpkins, Peanut Pumpkins, Golden Delicious, Long Island Cheese, Cinderella, Fairy Tale, Turks Turban, Jarrahdale, Pink Banana, Blue Banana, Flat White Boer Fords, and more!

  • Small Winter Squash: Favorite baking squash including; Spaghetti, Acorn, Carnival, Butternut, Honeynut (baby butternut), Delicata, and Sweet Lightning.

  • Gourds: We have small ornamental winged, smooth, and fancy warted gourds. We also have large birdhouse gourds (dried and green) including; Bottled, Cavemans Club, Corsican, Misc.

  • Indian Corn: We have single ears and wired tied bunches of 3.

  • Corn Stalks: Dried corn stalks, with a few ears of corn still attached. Approximately 12-15 stalks per bunch.

  • Straw Bales: Mini bales, half bales, and full sized bales available.
